There is a story, that no one tells. a story of love, deception and trust. a story about two girls, one who was born to destroy, the other who had the heart to stop her. this is the story of Ara.
it was my Eighteenth birthday, it was also the last First weeks of summer. as me and my friends planned and gossiped about the next three months and who would be going where, we also where planning a trip. we where going to be traveling to the Grassy hills of Ireland, it was sort of a “good luck in collage” last minute gift to each other. We had been planning it for months! Rite down to the hotel we would be staying in, not to mention the long hours at “Mc.Fryer”.
Our plain touched down at three in the morning, we where all just exhausted, we staggered to our hotel and checked in. and the three of us pretty much passed out. But the next morning at about noon, we all congregated again and took a nice horse ride on the country side. That is when we stumbled accost the most... horrific sight we had ever seen. Blood everywhere, men women children, everything was just mangled... the horses refused to move on word, and my friends bailed, but I had a feeling... I needed to help. I dismounted my horse and walked further into the carnage. Blood dripping on me from the bodies hanging from the roofs and windows. And finally I reached the end of the village, that is when I meet her... everything inside me was screaming to me I wanted to run but I didn’t instead I moved in closer.
You know it’s interesting how easily one becomes consumed by the fear in side themselves unaware that be giving into their fear will only bring their own end closer. Yet why is it I don’t feel any fear no matter how many stand against me determined to fight me till the end, why is it that they are so determined to make things more painful for themselves the end will only be the same they are better off just to give in it would be so much less painful for them. These feeling’s they all have that they have so much pride in, I have none of them Not pain Nor happiness. I feel nothing I have no need for any emotions they mean nothing to me they only make things more troublesome. Even as I eliminate these people I feel nothing, as blood bathes everything around me. I’m not like everyone else I was born different without any feeling given to me I do not care when those who see me call me a monster. Why should I when it’s true I am a monster a plague upon this planet and all who live in it. That was all I was created for to destroy everything without any regret or mercy. Yet why is it when this one girl looked at me she didn’t run away? Surrounded by the bodies of the dead and confronted by a monster like myself she didn’t even scream. She just stared at me with her green eyes I could sense her fear but she didn’t show it she seemed different from all those I had encountered before. Maybe that was why I didn’t kill her as soon as I had spotted her.
rikku stared at her,just covored in blood, she just oozed with pure evil but she didnt run, she only moved closer and when she reached her she reached out her hand "i-it dosent have to be like this" she said, ther was no hideing it,her voice shook as did her hand as she reached out to her.
"you are a strange one " Ara responded her voice cold as she watched the girl move closer to her. "you are ether a really brave girl or extremely stupid girl" she continued looking at her closely.
she forced a smile on her face as she looked into her eyes "im both" she said, staring into her eyes, all she could see was darkness. evil that had no soul. but the longer she gazed the more she began to see it. she saw a hint of lonesomeness, and sorrow. and seeing that in her. seeing the human emotion inside that demons body, made rikku's fears all but vanish.
